“Ordena el presente. Planea el futuro.”
The why
Money, more than infidelity, is one of the biggest reasons families fall apart. It's rarely about how much a family earns; it's that they have no shared plan and no tools to stick to one. So the trip, the house and the kids' education stay dreams instead of goals.
OneCafe's mission: keep families together, and give them a plan they can actually follow to reach the goals they share.
User personas
- The Household CFOPrimaryGoal: know where the month's money is going and how much is still safe to spend.Pain point: downloads statements from several banks and rebuilds the same spreadsheet every month.
- The Couple Sharing FinancesSecondaryGoal: one shared view of household spending.Pain point: money split across accounts, and no way to share some of it while keeping the rest private.
- The PlannerSecondaryGoal: decide whether the family can afford a change, like a new school or a rent increase.Pain point: no simple way to project how long savings will last.
What AI takes off their plate
Before: Finance tools were reactive—you uploaded data, fixed categories, and stared at charts. The “job” stayed yours: remember subscriptions, guess if the month holds, hunt deals and better rates elsewhere.
The paradigm shift: AI turns the ledger into a living plan tied to presupuestos and metas, watches reality against that plan, and proposes next steps (cut slack, reallocate to a goal, flag a recurrente, surface a flight/hotel deal or better APY)—with you approving every change.
After (OneCafe): Not a chatbot giving tips—a wealth manager in your pocket that starts from your extractos and hogar, closes the loop when you say yes, and over time adds deeper optimization (including portfolio, with opt-in)—rules-first today, agentic tomorrow.
My role: Solo founder, CPTO, creator—you name it.
